What's your return policy?
If you're dissatisfied for any reason, please email us (designglut -at- gmail.com). We accept returns within 15 days, as long as the item is undamaged and in its original packaging.

Yes, please get in touch. We're able to help you with product design, packaging design, web design, and all the facets of bringing a successful product to market. Click here to check out a few projects we've done for clients in the past.
How do you find the factories that make your products?
Google! Really, we're serious. There is no big secret for how to find factories. Search the internet, send relevant factories an email, and if they're interested in working with you they'll respond. We've found that about 1 in 10 factories will get back to us - so be persistant.
How is “Kegan” pronounced?
KAY-GUN. Rhymes with "Reagan."
What does “Design Glut” mean?
In economics, a glut is when there's an excessive amount of something. We believe that we are living in a design glut. There's just too much stuff in the marketplace. This is our company's starting point. We don’t make things unless we truly believe there is a reason for them to exist. Our objects start conversations, cause you to crack a smile, and add something meaningful to your life.
How did Design Glut start?
Kegan and Liz met at Pratt Institute, where they both studied industrial design. Our first collaboration was sharing a table in the DesignBoom Mart in 2007, right after graduation. The show went so well that we decided to form a partnership. Design Glut's first products were Egg Pants (designed by Liz), the Hookmaker (designed by Kegan), and Crude Jewelry, which was the first thing we designed together.

After that, we worked at design firms for a brief period, but decided that it wasn't for us. In April 2008, we set up a studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and began working at Design Glut full time. Since that point, we've moved full-speed ahead and successfully turned our passion for design into an established business. In addition to the product line, Design Glut is all about community. Check out our inspiring interviews with creative entrepreneurs and thought-provoking design events.
