Design Glut for the New York Times Magazine
October 26th, 2009Did you catch our key in this week’s New York Times Magazine? They asked us to design an object to illustrate the opening page of their “Key” real estate section.
The theme they gave us to work with was “rebirth to renewal” – so our idea was to make a key rising up out of a pool of liquid.
After coming up with the concept, we designed the piece in Solidworks and had a vacuum-metalized rapid prototype made.
